Sino–European Business Association Appoints Dr. Tobias Frieser as Chairman of Its German Chapter

Budapest, September 23, 2025 – The Sino–European Business Association (CEBA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tobias Frieser as Chairman of its German Chapter. The appointment was formally conferred in Budapest, witnessed by Mr. Zhe Huang, President of CEBA International Cooperation Center, marking an important milestone in CEBA’s organizational development across Europe and injecting new momentum into Sino–European industrial collaboration.

Dr. Frieser is a seasoned expert with extensive experience in international project management and Europe’s energy transition sector. He has led multiple international projects exceeding €100 million at Volkswagen Group and spearheaded the €1.2 billion investment of the Gotion Gigafactory in Slovakia, a landmark project in Europe’s new energy landscape. With his long-standing expertise in project development, project management, and construction management, as well as his broad network in the battery and automotive industries, Dr. Frieser has become a vital bridge for pragmatic cooperation between Chinese and European enterprises.
As Chairman of CEBA’s German Chapter, Dr. Frieser will leverage his industry experience and local resources to provide effective support for Chinese enterprises entering Germany and the broader European market. His leadership will not only strengthen CEBA’s influence in Germany but also foster cooperation in key fields such as new energy, smart manufacturing, and cross-border investment.
