On March 12, 2026, the Shanghai Overseas Expansion Service Center of the China-Europe Business Association was officially established in the

Hongqiao Business District. The launch of the center marks a significant enhancement of the Association’s service network in China’s key

economic regions and represents a new phase in delivering systematic support for Chinese enterprises going global.

As a national-level gateway for opening-up, Hongqiao Business District serves as a vital hub connecting the Yangtze River Delta with global markets.

Leveraging its well-developed international business ecosystem, efficient transportation network, and strong concentration of export-oriented

enterprises, the Shanghai center is positioned to become a key bridge linking Chinese companies with European markets.

The newly established center will focus on addressing the core needs of Chinese enterprises in their global expansion journey. It aims to build an

integrated service system covering strategic consulting, market entry, brand communication, compliance support, and industrial matchmaking. By

integrating local European resources, the center will provide end-to-end support—from early-stage market assessment to on-the-ground

execution—particularly empowering key sectors such as new energy, advanced manufacturing, and electronic information industries.

A representative of the China-Europe Business Association stated that Chinese enterprises are currently transitioning from “product export”to

“industrial globalization” and “capital expansion,” placing higher demands on localization, compliance, and global brand development. The

establishment of the Shanghai center aligns with this trend, adopting a dual-coordination model of “front-end in China, services in Europe” to help

enterprises reduce uncertainties and enhance global competitiveness.

Looking ahead, the center will focus on several key initiatives: building a China-Europe industrial matchmaking platform to promote two-way

investment and collaboration; developing overseas media and brand communication systems to strengthen global brand presence; enhancing

localized service capabilities including legal, tax, HR, and compliance support; and working with local governments and industrial parks to create a

model ecosystem for overseas expansion services.

In addition, the center will organize high-level closed-door meetings, industry forums, and practical training programs on global expansion,

continuously delivering professional insights and hands-on experience to support high-quality international growth for more Chinese enterprises.

The establishment of the Shanghai Overseas Expansion Service Center represents not only a major upgrade of the China-Europe Business

Association’s service framework, but also provides a stronger platform for Chinese enterprises to participate in global industrial division and

integrate into international markets. Amid the ongoing reshaping of the global economic landscape, the center is expected to become a key gateway

for Chinese companies to expand into Europe and connect with the world.
