New Year Message from the China-Europe Business Association
Dear Members, Global Partners, and Friends,
As the new year begins, everything is renewed. On this occasion of the Spring Festival, on behalf of the China-Europe Business Association, I extend
our sincere greetings and best wishes to all friends who have long cared for and supported the development of the Association.
The past year has seen the world economy advance amid uncertainties. The global industrial and supply chains have continued to undergo
restructuring, while geopolitical dynamics and technological transformations have intertwined, bringing unprecedented challenges to cross-border
operations and, at the same time, fostering new structural opportunities. Against this backdrop, China-Europe economic and trade cooperation has
demonstrated remarkable resilience and rationality, emerging as one of the vital forces stabilizing the global economy.
For Chinese enterprises, expanding overseas is no longer a choice but an integral part of their long-term strategy. For the European market, Chinese
enterprises are transitioning from "participants" to "contributors," deeply integrating into local industrial systems in sectors such as manufacturing,
energy, technology, and services. It is within this historical context that the China-Europe Business Association has embraced its mission of
"connecting, collaborating, and co-building."
Over the past year, adhering to a development approach that is "implementation-oriented and service-driven," we have continued to advance the
localization and systematic development of China-Europe business cooperation. The Association has established branches and enterprise service
centers in seven cities across China and Europe, including Paris, Hanover, Vienna, Budapest, Stockholm, as well as Shanghai and Dongguan in China.
This has gradually formed a collaborative network covering core economic regions in Europe and key industrial cities in China, providing enterprises
with more market-proximate, pragmatic, and effective support.
The establishment of this network is not driven by a pursuit of scale expansion but aims to bring greater certainty to cross-border cooperation —
ensuring that enterprises can find long-term partners who are familiar with regulations, understand industries, and respect local dynamics when
entering new markets.
In the coming year, the China-Europe Business Association will continue to uphold the following directions:
• Prioritizing enterprises, addressing their real needs, and helping them to "go global, establish a presence, and integrate effectively."
• Basing cooperation on rules, respecting laws, systems, and commercial boundaries, and promoting compliant, transparent, and sustainable
cooperation models.
• Leveraging industries as a bridge to foster deeper collaboration between China and Europe in key areas such as new energy, advanced
manufacturing, and the digital economy.
• Adhering to the principle of long-termism, opposing short-term speculation, and advocating for steady, rational cross-border development paths.
We believe that genuine international cooperation is not measured by fleeting trends but by the ability to remain steadfast amid cyclical fluctuations.
It is not about scale but about consistently creating real value.
In the new year, let us continue to join hands, seek common ground amid changes, build trust amid differences, and collectively foster a more resilient,
open, and sustainable China-Europe business cooperation ecosystem in an uncertain world.
We sincerely wish you all a new year of steady career growth, successful collaborations, family well-being, and great prosperity in the Year of the
Spring Festival!
