CEBA Appoints President of Global Cooperation Center and Secures Multiple Strategic Partnerships During European Tour
To further enhance mutual trust and collaboration between Chinese and European entrepreneurs and to promote industrial synergy and
sustainable development, the Global Committee of the China–Europe Business Association (CEBA), together with its Chairman, Professor
Hoffmann, officially announced the appointment of Mr. Huang Zhe as President of the Global Cooperation Center.
As a forward-looking international economic and trade platform, CEBA has long been committed to fostering business prosperity between
China and Europe through industrial cooperation and cross-border partnerships. This appointment marks a new step for the association in
advancing mutual understanding and trust among Chinese and European entrepreneurs and establishing higher-level cooperation mechanisms.
In his new role, President Huang Zhe embarked on a multi-country European tour in September, visiting Subotica in Serbia, Slovakia, Vienna,
Salzburg, Ruhpolding in Germany, Munich, Stuttgart, Heidelberg, Bonn, and arriving in Lille, France, on the evening of September 28.
During his visit, President Huang Zhe engaged in in-depth discussions with numerous European political, business, and industry representatives,
including:
• DI Karl Gruber, Chairman of the World Energy Council Austria
• Dr. Tobias Frieser, Chairman of CEBA Germany
• Dr. Manfred Gößl, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Munich and Upper Bavaria (IHK für München und Oberbayern)
• Dr. Uwe Vetterlein, CEO of the Cologne Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK zu Köln)
The discussions centered on strategic industrial cooperation between China and Europe, enterprise matchmaking mechanisms, and sustainable
development. Multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were successfully signed during the meetings. These achievements have laid
a solid foundation for practical cooperation between Chinese and European enterprises in sectors such as new energy, manufacturing, and the
digital economy, while also opening new avenues for cross-border investment, market access, and collaborative innovation.
President Huang Zhe remarked during the meetings:
"This appointment is not only a personal honor but also a new starting point for CEBA’s global strategic deployment. We will continue to
strengthen in-depth dialogue across industries through multi-level and multi-channel platform development, fostering stronger understanding
and trust among Chinese and European entrepreneurs to jointly achieve more resilient and sustainable business prosperity."
The China–Europe Business Association (CEBA) was founded in 2025 in Hong Kong, China, by Professor Hoffmann and several international
enterprises. It has since established branches in Hungary, Germany, France, and Chongqing, China. Focusing on key areas such as new energy,
advanced manufacturing, and the digital economy, CEBA is dedicated to building open, pragmatic, and forward-looking pathways for cooperation
between Chinese and European businesses.
